  1. Recount an aha moment you’ve had as a student of writing. Try to describe not only what you learned but the experience of learning it. Think in terms of setting, event, action, change.
  2. Describe the opposite, an epic fail as a student of writing, a moment you recall as a setback or embarrassment.  Again, think in terms of setting, event, action, change.
  3. Pick one of your narratives to read as a way of introducing yourself to the rest of this class.
